A ruffled floral dress for Sunday brunch

Josh recently joined a social club in town (Common House). They had this “Under 30” membership discount and, as a member, you’re able to bring guests. We honestly don’t get out of the house super often (introverted workaholics) but had been a few times with friends. We figured, “Why not. Let’s give it a go!”

We stopped in for Sunday Brunch and Josh snapped some photos of me in a current favorite dress from LOFT. I debated for many years on having a dedicated personal blog with fashion picks. Years. I simply did not feel anyone would show interest in what I wore. Admittedly, I’m someone who both struggles with being behind the camera (for anything other than testing out recently acquired photo/video equipment).

It dawned on me that I might have been wrong about people “not being interested.” While meeting up with some friends last week, I shared a quick story snap. Shocker: A little over ten people messaged me about this dress. Three encouraged me to start sharing my fashion on either a blog or an Instagram account. I replied to each message and realized it might be a sign to get myself to share.

I actually started this blog on Squarespace a while back, but “never got around” to making it official. Lack of confidence is a bummer, but I’m doing my best to get over it.
